ROLE:
We are looking for a talented Creative Technologist to help us strengthen our synthetic data generation and red teaming capabilities. You will be working on diverse technical challenges, from designing and integrating document templates into our platform to developing biometric attack simulations both digitally and physically.
You’ll be joining a small, yet growing, product team and working closely with the Head of Product on the various aspects of the company's design concepts. Collaboration is important at Onfido and you'll have the opportunity to speak regularly with users and internal stakeholders. We think you’ll be a particularly good fit if you’re excited by technology entrepreneurship and the startup world.
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong Adobe Suite, Figma, 3D (Blender, 3DS Max) and Web (RUST) + Python dev skills for data replication
Experience with physical and digital biometric attack simulation
Knowledge of 3D printing techniques for replicating biometric attacks
Comfortable working collaboratively and in an iterative process
Passion for fighting fraud and innovation
Experience with Product Design
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Synthetic Data Generation
Design and develop synthetic document templates (IDs, passports, etc.) and integrate them into our data generation platform.
Build and scale pipelines for AI-driven data replication using Python, Rust, or OpenCV
Biometric Attack Simulation
Create, test and scale digital biometric spoofs (deepfakes, AI generated video, injections...).
Design and execute physical vectors, including, 3D-printed masks, prosthetics... for red-team testing.
Creative Prototyping & Experimentation
Rapidly prototype new attack scenarios and tools to replicate current or anticipate fraudster techniques.
Collaboration & Product Integration
Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Applied Science to test concepts and validate fraud countermeasures.
Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure learnings translate into product resilience and better defenses.
