Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d)

<h2><strong><u>About the job</u></strong></h2> <p>We’re looking for a <strong>Senior Business Analyst</strong> with a <strong>consultancy</strong> and <strong>technical/software background</strong>, ideally with <strong>experience in the leasing industry</strong>. You’ll play a critical role in the <strong>preparation phase of complex software implementation projects</strong>, working closely with customers to shape requirements, processes, and operational readiness, before the implementation and customer specific development starts.</p> <p>Our software, <strong>"Miles"</strong>, is an <strong>ERP software</strong> for <strong>finance, leasing, fleet and mobility management</strong> in the automotive industry. It is a complex end-to-end solution that includes front, mid and back-office functions and can be extensively customized to the customer's needs through configuration.</p> <h2><span><strong><span>Your responsibilities will include:</span></strong><span> </span></span></h2> <ul> <li>Act as a strategic partner of the business in the <strong>preparation phase</strong> of complex software implementation cycles</li> <li>Lead <strong>process discovery workshops</strong> with customers to map flows, define needs, and identify risks</li> <li>Translate business goals into <strong>structured requirements</strong>, user stories, and acceptance criteria</li> <li>Support customers in <strong>process analysis and future-state design</strong>, ensuring alignment with the Miles product teams</li> <li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to <strong>prioritize the backlog</strong> and define scope</li> <li>Identify blockers or design mismatches early and help steer toward pragmatic solutions</li> <li>Ensure complete <strong>documentation of flows, decisions, and designs</strong> before implementation begins</li> <li>Facilitate handovers to delivery teams with full context and validated inputs</li> </ul> <h2><span><strong><span>Your skills and interests:</span></strong><span> </span></span></h2> <ul> <li><span>Business fluent in <strong>German </strong>(C1/C2) and <strong>English</strong></span></li> <li><strong>5+ years</strong> of experience in business analysis or IT consultancy</li> <li><strong>Technical affinity</strong> – ideally with software product experience</li> <li>Background or exposure to <strong>automotive leasing, finance or closely related business areas</strong> is a strong plus</li> <li>Experienced in <strong>Agile/Scrum</strong>, process modeling, and requirement elicitation</li> <li>Strong stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills</li> <li>Proficient with tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.</li> </ul> <h2><span><strong>What we offer:</strong></span></h2> <p>At Sofico, you’ll join an<strong> international, multicultural company</strong> with over 35 years of success.
