Principal HR Technology Analyst

Reporting to the Director, HR Digital Products & Capabilities, you will serve as the most senior individual contributor on the HR Digital Products & Capabilities team, providing expert Workday and Human Resources technology leadership across enterprise initiatives. You will lead complex technology transformations, shape Human Resources systems strategy, simplify business processes, and partner across Human Resources, Information Technology, Employee Experience, and automation teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve the employee experience and support organizational growth.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
Lead enterprise Human Resources technology initiatives, including Workday module implementations, automation projects, system transformations, and merger and acquisition integrations from strategy through deployment.
Develop and evaluate proof-of-concept solutions for emerging Human Resources technologies and capabilities.
Drive enterprise-wide business process simplification initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance the employee and manager experience.
Provide expert guidance on Workday configuration, integrations, architecture, and cross-system alignment to ensure scalable, sustainable solutions.
Partner with Information Technology, Employee Experience, and automation teams to align Human Resources technology initiatives with enterprise digital and artificial intelligence strategies.
Lead complex merger and acquisition activities, including tenant strategy, data migration architecture, configuration alignment, and readiness planning.
Identify and deliver high-impact system enhancements and process improvements across the Human Resources technology ecosystem.
Monitor Workday and broader Human Resources technology trends, translating roadmap developments into strategic recommendations.
Contribute technical expertise to vendor evaluations, management decisions, and governance standards related to configuration, testing, documentation, and change management.
Serve as the highest-level escalation point for complex system issues and lead remediation of recurring or architectural challenges.
Mentor team members through knowledge sharing, technical coaching, and cross-training.
Represent the Human Resources Digital Products & Capabilities team in cross-functional strategy discussions, communicate recommendations to leadership, and lead agile teams delivering integrated technology solutions.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or 8+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources information systems, Human Resources technology, or Workday leadership.
Expert-level Workday configuration and solution design expertise across multiple Human Capital Management domains, with experience architecting enterprise-scale solutions.
Proven success leading large-scale Human Resources technology initiatives, including implementations, module launches, and cross-functional transformation projects.
Experience influencing senior stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, and shaping technology strategy without formal people management responsibility.
Experience across the full Human Resources technology lifecycle, including requirements, design, configuration, testing, training, and stabilization.
Experience leading merger and acquisition Workday activities, including tenant strategy, data migration, and integration of acquired organizations.
Experience developing and evaluating proof-of-concept solutions for emerging Human Resources technologies.
Knowledge of modern Human Resources technologies, including employee experience platforms, artificial intelligence-enabled workflows, and enterprise automation tools.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, agile delivery methods, and project management tools.
Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation
