Job Summary
The Supervisor- Sanitation supervises, supports, and provides leadership and management to employees performing sanitation work and related activities. Sets schedules, supervises safety, monitors crews, and provides performance feedback and assistance.
Job Description
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE:
Four (4) years of experience in sanitation routing, collection, and/or solid waste disposal
AND
One (1) year of supervisory or lead work responsibilities. (This experience may be included in the required experience listed above).
EQUIVALENCIES:
A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in any field plus two (2) years of the required experience, including one (1) year of supervisory or lead work responsibilities, will meet the education and experience requirements.
LICENSES:
Valid driver's license with good driving record.
For Transfer Station Positions- Must obtain a Municipal Solid Waste B License issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) within the probationary period.
For some positions a Texas class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required at time of application.
Salary Range
