You are:

You are an administrator, a developer, and a tester of all things DATABASE!  You can swiftly perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. You enjoy maintaining database management systems (DBMS) and providing input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

The work:

• Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate AWS RDS Oracle and Postgresql databases
• Perform many related database functions across one or more teams, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management and performance tuning and active monitoring of the databases.
• Manage database management systems (DBMS) on AWS and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Performance tuning and active monitoring of the databases. 

 Here’s what you need: 

• 5+ years of Oracle DBA
• 1+ year of AWS experience
• Experience with Oracle OEM
• Experience with Postgresql databases
• Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) experience
• AWS Aurora experience
• AWS Relational Database Service (RDS) experience
• AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) experience

 Eligibility Requirements:

• US Citizen 
• Active Top-Secret Clearance
• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Washington DC

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
