Summary of Job Duties:

The Student Technology Center Evening Manager plays an important role in enhancing the technological and entertainment experience of campus, supporting academic technologies, and fostering a highly enriched campus environment that enables student/campus success. As a hands-on manager, responsible for leadership and operations of the evening job duties include ensuring smooth operation during the evening, providing training and mentoring to the students employees, coordinating, and administering device checkout functions, coordinating events hosted in the facility, including the maintenance and security of our gaming consoles, coordinating with campus departments, ensuring excellent customer service, coordinating with the daytime manager for staff work schedules, serving as the liaison to other units/departments in support of service to campus community, like the Student Success Center and University Libraries for example.

The evening manager will supervise several student employees that provide technology support and assistance to students, faculty, and staff via phone, email, and walk-up counter. They will also facilitate and coordinate any events or special programs for students, RSO’s, or other departments.
