Job Description:

We are looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to join our team and oversee our Solar Installation Operations. As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate for this position will have an in-depth understanding and deep experience of residential solar systems, energy storage systems, and the residential solar market. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and can adapt to changes quickly. .

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all Crew Leads, Crews and Installers and ensure all work is being done in a high quality, timely and safe manner.
• Work and train Crews directly in the field as needed to elevate their skill set and their ability to complete installations in a high quality, timely and safe manner.
• Work and train Crews directly as needed to ensure all closeout work is being completed in a timely manner (webform, photos, etc.)
• Be a resource to all Crews when they need help in the field whether troubleshooting an inverter or guidance on a tie in method or difficult electrical situation.
• Ensure all communication between Crews and customers is positive and done in a professional manner adhering with company policies and procedures.
• Work with the Operations Manager and other leaders throughout the Company as needed to develop better systems, processes and strategies to ensure all installations are done in a high quality, timely and safe manner.
• Assist and at time run the weekly installer meeting focusing on safety and quality in the field.
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

• At least 1 year of direct residential solar installation experience is a must.
• 1 year of leadership experience in the residential solar installation experience is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience training others is a huge plus.
• Detailed understanding and experience of all aspects of residential solar installation.
• Strong leadership skills are a must.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Strong communication skills both written and oral are a must.
• Deep electrical knowledge as it relates to residential solar installations is a must.
• Basic tech savviness is required

Compensation:

$75,000 - $90,000/year base salary
