We’ve got an amazing track record of success and fostering ongoing innovation. Our Product Managers stand at the leading edge of this disruption, and are responsible for guiding new products at Apex by combining financial industry research and our technical expertise.

In this role as Senior Product Manager, Client Experience, you will help chart the future of our client onboarding and support execution against the long-term strategy. You will partner directly with the onboarding team, sales, engineering, marketing and other functional teams across AFS.  You should have significant experience developing and launching products and technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools as well as knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales and Marketing

Responsibilities:

• Closely collaborate with customers, engineering, sales, product owners and other business stakeholders to gather requirements, write use cases, organize features, establish roadmap, and track usage of our client onboarding process
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and document detailed product requirements and lead new products from design to launch
• Develop and sustain strong, collaborative working relationships with other departments across Apex to build trust and understanding. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and solution providers
• Understand the competitive landscape and how to improve our client onboarding journey
• Be accountable for the functional and financial success of your products
• Position requires up to 10% time for travel. (We’re a distributed company)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in product management, co-founder or related technical role
• 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products
• Experience leading product development and execution for cross-functional teams
• Experience researching, defining and documenting market and product requirements
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
• Demonstrated full-lifecycle ownership of product development
• Understanding of user experience, web development, API standards, and Agile practices, with a strong preference for best practices and incremental delivery
• Ability to dig into business or technical problems and find pragmatic solutions
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
• Willing to be at one of Apex offices a minimum of 3 days a week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (CS or engineering degree) or equivalent experience. Master’s degree is a plus
• 5+ years as a Software Technical Product Manager
• Experience in building and scaling platform systems including software licensing and provisioning, administrative self-service tools, data portability, and 3rd party data integrations
• Experience researching, defining and documenting competitive technical infrastructure and/or platform requirements
• Product Management experience building B2B SaaS solutions; Financial Services (Payments, Brokerage, Wealth Management, Trading, Clearing, Settlements, etc) industry experience is a strong plus
