Position Overview

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and energetic individual to serve as Child Protection Training Academy (Simulations) Learning and Professional Development Facilitator.  Subject to administrative approval, this position will plan, conduct, facilitate, and manage highly specialized statewide/regional child welfare training courses and workshops consistent with performance-based training and quality improvement strategies relevant to the Agency’s program and performance goals and outcomes for child safety, well-being, and permanency.  The position will also provide on-going support to assigned statewide/regional staff in the development of child welfare services training curricula and annual training plans, utilizing a performance analysis process.
