Kentro is hiring for an Information Technology Data Analyst to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze data, create reports and metrics, and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Assist departments with data integration and visualization of data for consumption by stakeholders, executive staff, divisional and departmental staff, and project managers.
• Identify and validate requirements.
• Organize information into logical documents using business analysis models understood by the Government customer.
• Create and maintain rich data reports and/or visualizations through data interpretation and analysis.
• Integrate various reporting components from multiple data sources.
• Manage and improve existing reporting systems where directed by Government customer.
• Use knowledge of data processing and requirements development, capture, or management strategies to provide recommendations to Government leaders.
• Collaborate with data professionals to evaluate data figures, create reports based on findings, and monitor key performance indicators to determine mission initiatives success.

Location: On-site in Springfield, VA.

Requirements

1-5 years of experience with the following technical and soft skills:

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Data Analysis & Reporting – Experience in analyzing data, generating reports, and ensuring data accuracy.
• SQL & Data Queries – Ability to extract, manipulate, and integrate data from multiple sources using SQL or other query languages.
• Business Analysis – Experience in identifying and validating data requirements and structuring information using business analysis models.
• Data Integration – Ability to combine and reconcile data from different systems for reporting and analysis.
• Reporting System Management – Experience managing and improving reporting tools and dashboards.

Soft Skills & Other Requirements:

• Attention to Detail – Strong ability to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Communication & Collaboration – Ability to work with stakeholders, executives, and project managers to present data insights.
• Problem-Solving – Analytical mindset to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities in data.
• Government Compliance Knowledge – Understanding of data documentation and reporting requirements for the federal government.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in coding languages such as Oracle and Python.
• Experience with statistical analyses and statistical software.
• Proficiency in creating rich data reports and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

Clearance:

• Must possess an Active TS/SCI with the ability to take and pass a CI Polygraph
