Senior Accountant – Beauty Industry GHJ Search and Staffing has partnered with a fast-growing and well-known beauty brand to identify a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This is a high-impact role at a company experiencing strong growth and industry recognition.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, the month-end close process, and general ledger activities. This person will also collaborate across departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities: • Support the full-cycle month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations • Oversee accounts receivable, collections, and revenue tracking • Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls • Support external audits with documentation and responses
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 3+ years or more years of accounting experience • Strong understanding of GL and month-end close
Nice to have: • Industry experience in beauty or consumer products • Public accounting background • CPA or CPA eligible#GHJSS #LI-JE1
