To interview prospective Computer Studies students, provide support services to current students, and organize and host departmental outreach events.Job Description:
Description of Duties and Tasks
1) Interviews prospective students, reviews readiness assessment results, makes recommendations regarding placement into the Computer Studies program, advises students regarding course registration; explains degree plans, admissions and registration procedures, provides assessment and financial aid information and career coaching, and other requirements necessary for enrollment.
2) Maintains weekly contact with assigned students via email and phone to ensure contact and increase student success.
3) Schedules and presents IT information sessions for students and staff. Participates in career fairs.
4) Plan, organize, and host program events.
5) Create, order, and distribute marketing materials.
6) Conducts data tracking, organizing, and reporting of data.
7) Assists with registration in restricted courses.
8) Maintains and updates records and files and submits reports as appropriate.

* College admission and financial aid procedures.
* Interviewing techniques.

* Office management processes and practices.

* Maintaining an established work schedule which may include some evenings.

* Two years related work experience.

Associates with 2 years of work experience
Physical Requirements
* Work is performed in a standard office or similar environment.
* Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
* Occasional lifting and moving of objects up to 10 pounds.

Salary Range
$44,817 - $56,021
