ANNOUNCEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL VACANCY 

 

POSITION:                      Title I Teacher/Coach

 

LOCATION:                     Roanoke Elementary School     

 

QUALIFICATIONS:          

1.  Valid WV Elementary Certificate

2. Valid Reading Specialist Certification preferred

3. Computer Literate

4. Knowledge of utilizing math manipulative for math instruction

5. Knowledge of effective instructional strategies in the area of reading and mathematics

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:       

1.  Provide assistance in developing, implementing, and monitoring the school and county Title I project

2. Provide services to Title I students as outlined in the school/county Title I project.

3. Participate in staff development sessions.

4. Plan and implement activities to promote positive parental involvement.

5. Complete reports and record keeping related to Title I.

6. Analyze data for the purpose of program planning and improvement.

7. Participate in training and coursework that may be needed to implement and develop the school/county Strategic Plan

8. Work cooperatively with administration, other teachers, parents, and community.

9. Attend and provide professional development 

10. Other duties as assigned by the principal, Title I Director, and/or Superintendent of Schools. 

 

SALARY:                         Commensurate with Certification and Experience 

 

TERM:                            200 days  

                                       2026-2027 school year (prorated)

 

AVAILABLE:                    Upon Board Action
