About the role

The NFL is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and globally-minded Manager to drive global marketing strategy and planning efforts. This role will help develop international marketing plans that connect to global strategy and drive cross-functional alignment to market plans. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and eager to build a career at the intersection of strategy, operations, and international marketing.

Strategic Support & Planning

  • Support and document global marketing strategies, objectives, and performance measures
  • Analyze market-specific conditions, performance, and business priorities to inform market-level fan development prioritization and focus
  • Maintain and update centralized planning frameworks and toolkits for cross-market use
  • Support strategic planning for key global and multinational initiatives (e.g., tune-in, youth football participation, football education, brand campaigns, cause marketing)

Integrated Go-to-Market Coordination

  • Translate annual marketing priorities and tactics into consistent, clear and calendarized plans – for each market and a global, rolled up view
  • Coordinate alignment across functions and marketing channels – all map to market priorities

Operations & Budget Management

  • Own budget tracking and reconciliation across central and international marketing budgets
  • Evaluate marketing investment performance across regions, functions, and partners
  • Support the orchestration of center of excellence-driven processes and operations that enable matrixed marketing organization to operate efficiently and impactfully

Insights & Measurement

  • Operationalize a global KPI framework; support modeling and forecasting to inform performance target setting
  • Support articulation of international insights to inform planning and decision-making
  • Partner with internal insights and analytics teams to inform research roadmap

Collaboration, Communication, Budgeting & Planning

  • Drive communications across marketing centers of excellence and global market leads
  • Coordinate key meetings and input-gathering processes
  • Project manage international-focused strategy and planning-owned workstreams
  • Contribute to presentations and communication materials for leadership
  • Lead budgeting for global marketing across marketing centers of excellence and market-specific plans
  • Oversee global marketing budget on an ongoing basis in partnership with NFL Finance; regularly evaluate optimal allocations across functions, initiatives and markets
  • Continuously identify and unlock synergies across global marketing activities, vendors and team operations

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in management consulting, strategy, marketing planning, or other relevant roles
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to inform strategic decisions
  • Project management experience
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
