Financial Systems Manager 

Job Summary

The Financial Systems Manager is a critical role in delivering successful solutions by partnering with business and technology teams to elicit requirements and manage the design and development of the Company’s financial systems which includes Intacct, FloQast, Bill, Navan, Shareworks, Avalara, Captivate IQ, Rippling, Charthop and Adaptive Insights. The Financial Systems Manager will need to collaborate with the Finance, Engineering, HR and Sales Operations teams to be successful in leveraging the investments made in various systems around the Company (Salesforce and Snowflake as examples) by connecting them together to automate and improve the quality of finance related information shared around the Company. This role will continually monitor our systems performance and user utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As the financial systems expert the Financial Systems Manager will:
  • Be responsible for managing the data integrity, system interoperability and maintenance of the Company’s Financial Systems (Intacct, Adaptive Insights, Avalara, Bill, etc.)
  • Works closely with third-party vendors including software providers, implementation partners, and consultants
  • Provides leadership with various automation projects and new system implementations (such as commission software, Intacct modules, etc.)
  • Works with others to automate various reporting leveraging our technology such as revenue flash reports, KPIs, financial dashboards, salesforce integration, etc.
  • Understands existing and anticipated ERP functionality that meets business demand. This includes system upgrades such as new features and functionality to help users understand how to navigate and optimize automation.
  • Assists the team with user acceptance testing requirements for existing and new ERP systems and modules
  • Manages the configuration and setup of the ERP-related solutions
  • Provides user training, support and technical leadership
  • Develop and document system processes, policies and workflows and recommends best practices in utilizing the financial systems
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Two to three years of experience implementing ERP Systems including configuration and functional set ups.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related field
  • Has general knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and its applications in Accounting, budgeting, and finance
  • Demonstrated domain knowledge of enterprise-wide ERP-related business and technical processes (enterprise functions include sales operations, Finance, and supply chain)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and projects to drive business improvements
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple, complex projects
  • Strong initiative and ability to work collaboratively (in a team environment) as well as independently

  • Strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training.
  • Experience in high-growth /pre-IPO Technology companies

The anticipated salary range for this role is $115,000- $130,000 plus company bonus. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market
