About this role 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our general ledger team. The ideal candidate will have experience with general ledger accounting, treasury, fixed assets and month-end close. This role will report directly to the Accounting Manager and be a key contributor to our growing accounting team.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare the month-end and year-end close process, including month-end journal entries and reconciliation
• Prepare and oversee balance sheet reconciliations
• Contribute to our monthly flux analysis & provide variance analysis for expense accounts
• Develop systems and processes to optimize scalability, efficiency, and internal controls
• Apply GAAP to ensure the accuracy and integrity of general ledger accounts
• Assist in annual audits
• Work with the Staff Accountant to ensure completeness and accuracy of the fixed assets sub-ledger, lease accounting, prepaid expenses and accruals and cash
• Assist in developing and maintaining the Company’s accounting policies and procedures as we expand
• You'll work closely with the Accounting Manager in general corporate accounting matters and ad hoc projects or requests

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent, CPA a plus
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• General Ledger experience
• Good understanding of US GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with NetSuite or equivalent ERP system
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in changing situations
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
• Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally across multiple teams

Salary Range

California: the pay range for this role is $89,500 to $123,000 per year. 

This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
