We are seeking an Associate Broker to join our growing team in St. Petersburg, FL. 

Working closely with senior brokers, underwriters, and insurance providers, the Associate Broker helps clients navigate the complexities of insurance products and services, ensuring they receive the best possible coverage tailored to their needs. The role involves researching and analyzing insurance markets, assisting with policy recommendations, and providing ongoing client support throughout the policy lifecycle. The Associate Broker is integral to the growth and success of the brokerage, contributing to client retention, satisfaction, and business development.

How You Will Contribute 

• Assist with commercial lines renewal underwriting
• Assist with joint marketing trips with senior underwriters
• Negotiate rates and terms with carriers
• Discuss coverage & forms with retail customers
• Assist the sales process on new & renewal business
• Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Hull & Company and Brown & Brown
• Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures
• Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills

Skills & Experience to Be Successful

• 2 – 4 years’ experience in Commercial Multi-Line Insurance OR a Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management
• Sales & Production driven mentality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
