The salary range for this role, based in New York is $194,400 to $243,000, range will vary if outside of this location.  Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary:

The Senior Director Commercial Planning & Performance Management will lead a dynamic team to drive impactful salesforce planning and resource deployment across divisions, ensuring a cohesive national strategy. The position will collaborate with senior leadership to strategically invest in high-growth accounts and embed transformative commercial projects within our organization. This position will lead the charge in performance management, sales forecasting, and team development to propel our business forward.

What you’ll do:

  • Strategic Deployment: Collaborate with Commercial Strategy & Transformation to deploy account segmentation models, ensuring resources are focused on high-growth accounts.

  • Transformation Projects: Embed commercial projects within the CPP organization and drive consistency in planning processes across sales, finance, and marketing.

  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance measurement tools, track overall performance, and create action plans for underperforming areas.

  • Sales Forecasting: Lead sales forecasting efforts, ensuring alignment between regional divisions, chains, and distributor partners. Utilize data dashboards for informed decision-making.

  • Team Leadership: Foster a culture of inclusivity and high performance, set consistent performance standards, and conduct monthly performance huddles with direct reports.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 10+ years of experience successfully leading strategic sales planning and resource deployment.

  • Strong background in performance management and sales forecasting.

  • Excellent leadership and team development skills.

  • Data-driven decision-making capabilities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
