Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Strategic Security Planning:

  • Develop and execute a strategic security plan aligned with the company's growth objectives, global footprint, and risk profile.
  • Stay abreast of emerging security threats, trends, and best practices to continuously and proactively enhance security measures and capabilities.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to govern all aspects of security operations within the company.
  • Ensure alignment with industry best practices, NIST, and ISO standards.
  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure adherence to security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to address security-related legal and regulatory issues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant global regulatory requirements and industry standards related to security, privacy, and data protection.
  • Collaborate with internal audit, controls, and compliance teams to address security-related findings and recommendations.

Risk Assessment and Management:

  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify security threats, vulnerabilities, and potential impacts on business operations.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to reduce security risks and vulnerabilities.

Executive Protection:

  • Manage executive protection programs to ensure the safety and security of key executives during domestic and international travel and high-profile events.

Security Training and Awareness:

  • Develop and deliver security training programs to educate employees on security best practices, procedures, and protocols.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness and vigilance among employees through ongoing communication and engagement.

Technical Security Oversight:

  • Ensure technical security systems are implemented, maintained, and optimized to meet the specific needs of our leased spaces and comply with industry standards.
  • Oversee the technical security systems, including access control systems, credentials management, alarms, and CCTV cameras.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and solutions to protect against cyber threats and data breaches stemming from physical security vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify and address vulnerabilities.

Physical Security Oversight:

  • Develop and implement physical security measures to protect company facilities, assets, and personnel across global locations.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of physical security measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Security Operations Center (SOC) Management:

  • Establish and oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC) to monitor, detect anomalies, and respond to security incidents in real-time.
  • Implement incident response protocols and coordinate with stakeholders during security incidents to effectively manage and mitigate security incidents.
  • Support and integrate with Resiliency and Crisis Management operations.
