The Digital Product Owner is responsible for driving the creation, enhancement, and sustainment of digital technologies that drive automation, digitization and analytics in our agriculture business processes, across multiple regions and markets. The Digital Product Owner plays a crucial role in the development of the business process, aligning with the Business Transformation Office (BTO), and regional stakeholders and translating the business process into a supporting product vision, strategy, features and prioritization. This includes gathering business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, defining product features, and designing through the lens of enhancing end-user digital experience and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

 

The Product Owner is responsible for ensuring the successful launch of the product, the creation of business value, and the adoption of the product globally. This role will focus on digitalizing one or more agriculture business processes with a key focus on the Contracting and Seed Management business process. This includes end-to-end contract life cycle management from sourcing to payment to supplier digitally including an understanding of contract terms, pricing conditions, payment terms, and digital signature. The Product Owner will continue to identify opportunities for innovation and ensure the product remains competitive in the market with the latest tools, technology trends, and emerging practices. The Product Owner is also responsible for understanding the capabilities of the digital technologies selected for the build of the digital tools and works closely with the Digital Delivery Team from the Technology department.

 

Academic Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Engineering/Science

*Ideal candidate will have Agriculture Business Experience

 

Technical Experience Requirements:

- Digital Product Development

- Business Process Mapping

- Product Vision, Roadmap, Features, and Visualization Experience

- Data Analysis

- Salesforce.com Implementation 

- Experience Working With Multiple Regions

*Ideal Candidate will also have experience in UX Design and Agriculture Product Development

 

Related Work Experience:

- Minimum of four years of Business Consulting / Digital Product Development

- Strong background in developing business processes and translating them into product features

- Life cycle management/supplier management experience including pricing conditions, contract, and payment terms

- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders

- Experience in creating and influencing change

 

This is a hybrid role and will be based out of one of our European corporate office locations in either France, Belgium, Netherlands, United Kingdom, or Poland. With global product development, you will be working wtih remote teams in different locations and will also require occasional international travel.
