The Test and Evaluation team at Anduril plays a crucial role in our mission , ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of performance and reliability. Our team conducts full system level development testing, new production acceptance testing, software qualification testing and much more.
This position is looking for a highly motivated test engineer with emphasis in software/hardware interface and diagnostics. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- As a Test and Evaluation (T&E) engineer, under minimal supervision, you will be responsible for test planning, execution, and reporting
- Collect and perform initial test data analysis for the system under test.
- Perform software and integration testing of UAS systems, in both simulated and field environments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret test data, identify system behaviors, and drive product enhancements, process improvements
- Manage the use of test ranges and coordinate with external agencies to facilitate testing activities.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field of engineering.
- Thorough understanding of engineering principles, especially in terminal guidance and autonomous systems.
- Quick learner with the capacity to accurately implement new concepts and effectively manage multiple project phases.
- Proven experience in designing and executing rigorous testing protocols.
- Skillful in data analysis and comfortable in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Availability to travel for testing-related activities on an as needed basis.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
- Ability to immediately obtain a U.S. Top Secret-Level security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Direct experience with UAS design or operational deployment.
- Advanced knowledge of UAV testing methodologies and data analysis.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, etc
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
