Warehouse Lead Coordinator

Description

Warehouse Scheduling and Operation 100%

• Responsible for filling orders and other general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment 
• Train, coach and provide day-to-day direction to team members as needed 
• Operate Forklift, and or manually lift and move product  
• Coordinate daily, weekly and long-term production / inventory flow demands and communicate effectively with Plant Manager, Maintenance and other production team members 
• Act as single point of contact for information and coordination of all aspects relating to shipping, receiving, finished goods storage and inventory control 
• Coordinate flow of finished goods, ensuring product remains current, free from damage and deterioration and that all re-stacks, re-work and woodyard recycling is handled in a timely manner 
• Coordinate snow removal and upkeep of finished goods storage, shipping and receiving areas (NY Only) 
• Ensure that daily, weekly equipment inspections are being performed, documented and submitted on schedule.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required  

One to five years manufacturing experience required 

Prior Warehouse experience highly preferred 

Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product

Certified Forklift License a plus

Demonstrated attention to detail
