AIG’s Information Technology functions include application development and management, enterprise architecture, and technology risk and compliance.

About the role

What you need to know:

The IT Analyst is a supportive role within ISO’s Business Service Delivery Team.  The role has a variety of functions ranging from working with the different security teams to understand vulnerabilities found in systems, & engaging application teams to support remediation efforts.

This position will provide you the opportunity to develop and support our internal security technologies while building your application security knowledge. You’ll be on the forefront of business-critical technology projects.

Key responsibilities of this position would involve vulnerability remediation management, supporting ISO strategic objectives, as well as partnering with the different business units.

Technical mindset that can communicate with the business units, helping them to understand and facilitate security predefined security procedures.

Collaborate with Delivery teams for Cybersecurity projects, specifically System and Application remediation, Monitoring and Logging, Network Security, and Identity and Access Management.

Work with the Global Software Security Assessment (SSA) Team to ensure application portfolios adhere to standards and recertification cadence.

Partner with the business and security team to ensure security standards are followed, enforced  and components delivered to improve security are implemented with high quality.

Review threat intelligence feeds from company cyber defense center and track remediation progress across business units.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other tools including but not limited to Confluence, and Candor.

Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written and an ability to use your own initiative and prioritize.

Use analytics in the preparation of status reports for c-suite audience.

Ability to describe complex ideas in a simple way.

Work closely with project and application teams to ensure adequacy of deployment and remediation plans.

Maintain broad knowledge of Information Security best practices and trends

Attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, programming, information technology, engineering, network security or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills with high solutions orientation.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written, verbal and comprehension).
  • Resilient, resourceful, displays strong initiative, self-directed and motivated.
  • 2+ years experience in Information technology support areas in a financial institution.
  • 2+ years experience in project management or equivalent coordination role in a financial institution.
  • Strong communication skills with an understanding of how to communicate technical terms to business level representatives.
