The Global S&OP Director plays a critical role in the success of Solenis by leading and enhancing Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes across the organization. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Supply Chain Strategy & Enablement, this role is responsible for driving cross-divisional enterprise processes that coordinate product portfolio updates, assess supply and demand constraints, and optimize operational resources to improve service and product availability for Solenis customers.

This position works closely with Regional Planning Directors, Supply Chain leadership, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment in S&OP strategies that support Solenis’ business goals and financial performance. The role leads the rollout and oversight of S&OP and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes to drive business results through transparent communication and collaborative decision-making. A strong focus is placed on collaboration, agility, and resilience in a dynamic and evolving business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve global S&OP processes, including support for new product launches, demand surges, and shortage management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Product Development, Commercial, etc.) to understand demand and market factors that influence timing and volume and translate them effectively into the S&OP process.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, leadership, and collaboration by clearly defining responsibilities and leading by example.

  • Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with direct reports and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Serve as a trusted and credible voice across the organization, maintaining a strong leadership presence and influencing outcomes at all levels.

  • Lead, coach, and support team members through performance development and reviews to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

  • Monitor operational performance metrics, analyze trends and variances, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and improve outcomes.

Strategic and Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Establish and maintain best practices for Sales and Operations Planning across regions and business units.

  • Help shape the vision and data strategy for demand planning to improve mid- and long-term capacity planning.

  • Partner with Supply Chain Planning Tools Managers to enhance S&OP capabilities and toolsets.

  • Collaborate with Global Training to ensure consistency in onboarding and ongoing education for S&OP stakeholders.

  • Align with the Global Inventory team to ensure inventory strategy supports S&OP goals and working capital targets.

  • Participate in global and Executive S&OP meetings to ensure alignment and consistent execution of strategy.

  • Identify and track key performance indicators to measure S&OP effectiveness, progress, and business risks.

  • Drive adoption of current and future planning systems and processes to support organizational goals.

  • Foster strong communication between Product Man
