Responsibilities
Working under minimal supervision, referring only exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval, the Sr Program Manager, executes campaigns to increase the adoption and consumption of assigned software products and solutions to drive measurable revenue and profitability for Connection. Other responsibilities include program development and execution across multiple sales subsidiaries to drive key partner and Connection objectives with the goal of driving growth in revenue. The Sr Program Manager works with internal (Sales, Sales Management, Product Management, TSG and Finance) and external vendor resources to align objectives, to formulate goals and to produce results. Program support includes strategic assessment of program and repositioning as necessary, implementing process improvement initiatives to create efficiencies and executing ancillary actions to simplify selling to enable Account Managers to produce sales to capture the software market. The Sr Program Manager accomplishes this by cultivating strong relationships alongside the assigned Business Development Specialist (BDS) with Sales, Marketing, Service Practice and Engineers, and Product Management organizations to ensure repeatable end-to-end solutions are successfully executed.
Job Responsibilities:
•Develops, implements and executes program strategies to support and drive the sales growth objectives in conjunction with our sales leadership. Teams with assigned Partner Development Specialist (PDS) to communicate pipeline and share forecasts with sales and Product Management Leadership. Executes vendor MDF (Market Development Funds) plans for rapid time-to-market, motivating sales for optimum results. Works directly with Marketing to ensure all plans are being executed. •Helps maintain vendor pipeline and communicates points of light and areas of opportunity to Product Management Leadership and Sales Management. Effectively communicates all marketing programs and initiatives within the Product Management team as well as the customer success team. •Owns educating the Account Managers and presales teams on Cisco solutions and programs, including technical trainings and providing program overviews. Develops, manages, and executes sales enablement plans, incentive programs and other activities. •Tracks, reviews, and reports profitability of marketing programs and manages MDF Budget Tracker and marketing proof-of-execution claims. •Creates metrics outlining success of marketing programs. •Project manages Cisco's certification plan with the Practice Area related to architecture specialization •Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.
