EquipmentShare is hiring a Field Technician (Mechanic) for Advanced Solutions for our rental facility in Orlando, FL as the team continues to grow.

 

EquipmentShare is seeking a Field Technician to be responsible for providing maintenance and repair for a variety of customer and company owned heavy equipment machinery. A Field Technician Advanced Solutions - Level 1 performs maintenance, repairs on Rental Power, Air Compressors, & HVAC, and ability to help set up & tear down projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

 

• Perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs associated with generators, air

                compressors, and HVAC

• Perform repairs with diagnosis that is possible in the field
• Maintain owned equipment
• Write up detailed service reports
• Build productive customer relationships
• Understanding of basic refrigeration, diesel engines, and controllers
• Understanding of basic electrical components and power distribution
• Understanding of how to interpret electrical schematics

 

Qualifications:

• DOT Medical Card
• Valid Driver's license & acceptable driving record
• EPA 608 Certification (preferred)
• Track record of ability to perform & fix equipment in a timely manner to the quality and

                standard required

• A record of promptness to get to and from work timely
• Ability to self motivate & self manage time
• Strong writing skills to complete detailed service reports

Education and Experience:

 

• High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
• Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

 

Physical Requirements:

 

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

We are looking for someone with availability to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm or Monday-Friday

7am-4pm (and Saturdays only in special circumstances)
