Job Overview:
The AVP – Pricing Strategy role will analyze how LPL makes money and support recommendations on how LPL can optimize its pricing models. As part of the Pricing team, you will also work with internal subject matter experts and business leaders on various initiatives to increase LPL’s enterprise value. We are looking for candidates who are adept at analyzing financials, finding patterns, and setting a vision for what is possible.
The AVP role will be part of our fast-paced Corporate Strategy team where LPL dreams big – setting an ambitious vision – then interacting with stakeholders across the organization to turn this vision into reality. Our AVP will combine strategic thinking, human-centered design, market research & sizing, and data analysis to explore, ideate, and incubate the opportunities that will set LPL apart from the competition.
Responsibilities:
Conduct data analysis to size financial opportunities and risks
Collect and distill market intelligence to understand industry benchmarks and pricing methodologies
Develop competitive assessments to understand LPL's positioning relative to competitors
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and form pricing strategies for products and solutions
Provide strategic pricing recommendations through executive level presentations
Align pricing opportunities with LPL's long-term strategy

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or other related fields
7+ years in pricing, corporate strategy, consulting, FP&A or financial modeling
Core Competencies:
Financial modeling

Cross-functional collaboration
Preferences:
Prior experience / knowledge of the financial services industry
Fluency in P&Ls at large companies
Foundational understanding of business models and revenue streams for wealth management firms, broker dealers, RIAs, custodians
Comfortable working through ambiguous ideas and topics
Able to distill complex concepts into easily understandable terms
