Overview
Are you a Lead Physical Therapist (PT) or a Lead Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) with a desire to impact the lives of the older adult population? If so, our Rehab Team at beautiful Mather Place in Wilmette is seeking its next employee-owner team member.
Patient evaluation and effective administration of treatment programs, coordinate staffing needs within the community and distribute therapy caseload among staff, and submit billing information to Symbria Rehab.
Responsibilities
- Perform the principle functions and responsibilities of the specific job description that Lead Therapist is licensed as a PT or a PTA.
- Assign activities within the rehabilitation services department.
- Coordinate therapy services with the nursing department and other therapy disciplines.
- Inform nursing of information presented at the interdisciplinary team meeting.
- Evaluate and treat patients and coordinate other related activities at the community.
- Maintain productivity standards.
- Adhere to Symbria Rehab’s mission, Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, and all state and federal regulations.
- Full utilization of technology provided to document and enhance client care.
- Any and all duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily is necessary and the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Licensed rehabilitation professional with acute, long-term care and/or rehabilitation experience; minimum of two years clinical experience.
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and basic math skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills with strong focus on customer service.
