We are looking to hire a Procurement Senior Manager, Global Design and Transformation immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Global Design & Transformation Team will Design, Specify & Drive the Procurement function’s capabilities, to enable high performance across the Procurement Organization.  With a globally focused team, this manager will lead the following Procurement priorities:

1. Develop, agree and embed globally consistent policies, processes & tools
2. Lead strategic Procurement focused programs
3. Identify & build the Procurement function of the future, especially focused on digital transformation

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with a wide range of Procurement team members – Procurement LT through to junior buyers – to develop and then execute new/improved policies & processes

In partnership with the procurement organization, relentlessly drive Procurement Programs to meet Enterprise needs. E.G Supplier Resiliency, SRM/SPM, Cash Release, Digital Transformation & Enablement

Execute agreed projects to progress the Procurement Function to the next phase of excellence

Collaborate with the Org Effectiveness Director & Capabilities team to embed new/better capabilities tools, processes, ways of working in the Procurement Function

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Finance, Accounting, or applicable field of study
• Strategic thinker, with a track record of program delivery

• Experience working in a large and or global procurement environment, including work with best in class processes, tools and procedures

• Experience of interacting and influencing with senior leadership levels  across the organization.

• Experience and understanding of the global supply chain environment

• Knowledge of leveraging best in class risk tools and understanding change management

• Must have broad perspective on industry tools and creating business case models

• Experienced gathering and working with internal and external data, in both structured and unstructured formats. Ability to work with structured and unstructured data

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA or equivalent Master's Degree
• Lean/Six Sigma, CPM or APICS certification
• Understanding of industry-leading Procurement technologies that will transform the function.  Strong understanding of wider digital/automation tools (e.g Generative AI)
• IT literate & process minded, with curiosity to learn & work on how to apply new industry technologies to Procurement in MKC
