The Role:

Candidate shall provide top-quality customer service at all times. The Golf Shop Retail Manager oversees the golf shop & shop staff on a daily basis, and has in-depth knowledge of golf and associated retail practices.

 

Responsibilities:

• Reports directly to the Director of Golf. 
• Assist w/ training of customer-facing positions (counter/outings/etc). 
• Assist with designing and implementing successful daily procedures. 
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests on a daily basis. 
• Keep track golf shop trends/sales…produce reports for review as needed. 
• Work closely with club Controller to keep monthly inventory reports  
• Assist golf team as necessary…especially with special events and golf outings. 
• Keep an eye on budget...proactively work with the entire team to increase sales. 
• Assist with inventory control and shipping issues. 
• Assure that the golf shop looks neat and well-presented at all times. 

This role is not limited to the above bullet points, but they will be the main points of expectation. The employee filling this position can expect to work approximately 45-60 hours per week during the peak golf season. During slower months and while the Golf Shop is closed, you will have significant downtime. However, the Retail Manager is expected to be on top of all responsibilities throughout the year and be fully prepared for the following season.

Target Salary Range: 

Min: $61,000.00

Mid: $73,250.00

Max: $80,575.00
