Job Description:
  • Design and develop online course elements in the Canvas Learning management system
  • Apply instructional design best practices and principles to ensure instructional materials align with learning objectives and meet the needs of diverse learners 
  • Support the implementation of new tools and technologies to enhance the learning experience
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving instructional design processes within the office 
  • Review and remediate content for accessibility 
  • Knowledge of Canvas Learning Management System. Other software used: H5P, Articulate Rise, Monday.com, Slack, Google Docs, Microsoft Teams, and some awareness of and experience with generative AI software (ChatGPT, Co-Pilot, Claude, etc.).
  • Up to 20 hours/week (flexible based on weekly workload)  
  • Must be available for in-person event support  
Expected Salary:

$15 per hour

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma

Preferred:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with instructors and teams (video, design)
  • Demonstrate openness, sensitivity, and the ability to interact respectfully with all people and understand individuals' differences
