Sr. Web Developer

The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Web Developer to serve as the primary Front-End Web Developer for prosper.com's WordPress instance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining all aspects of our customer-facing website, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. 

Problems You Will Solve

• Serve as the primary Front-End Web Developer for prosper.com's WordPress instance 
• Build and maintain all aspects of the customer-facing website, including: Webpages, Navigation, Plugins, Themes , Template library, and API calls 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing ones 
• Ensure website performance, security, and scalability 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and best practices 
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner 
• Optimize website for maximum speed and scalability 

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field 
• 8+ years of experience in front-end web development 
• Expert-level proficiency in WordPress development 
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery 
• Experience with PHP and MySQL 
• Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first principles 
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
