What We’re Looking For:
The Financial Analyst Analysis supports the budgeting, forecasting, long term planning and business strategic analysis for the Marketing group, with additional supplemental support for the other shared service groups within the Technology and G&A departments. This role is inherently cross-functional—this leader will work closely with the Business Unit leaders and other functional teams as well as Executive Leadership. The person needs to be highly analytical, resourceful, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Maintaining and updating financial planning models to manage effective forecasting and budgeting processes
- Ensure that the various reporting systems (Workday, AP) and source data (financial models) are accurate and reconciled.
- Organize, analyze, and present high value analysis and interpretation of data in support of finance and strategic planning functions
- Proactively identify, contribute, and drive the execution of financial improvement opportunities
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with other 2U business units
- Collaborate with other functional areas to drive processes forward and increase efficiency.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics strongly preferred
- 1-2+ years of experience directly related to the responsibilities required of the position
- Demonstrated experience cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with employees at multiple levels: peer, manager, executive
- Proficiency working with large datasets and ability to segment data into business insights
- Advanced knowledge and ability with Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($60,000-$70,000), with potential bonus eligibility. Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
