Position Summary:
The Associate Merchandiser for Non Apparel supports in the creation, implementation and execution of global seasonal product strategies for both Mainline and Outlet. The Associate Merchandiser will coordinate with their Global Merchandising team, Regional Merchandising, Market Merchandising, Global Merchandise Planning, Design, and Product Development. They will assist in the alignment of the global vision and the assortment planning process in order to achieve or exceed annual financial goals. They are responsible for ensuring all merchandising tools are maintained and accurate.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:
- Responsible for supporting in the creation, implementation and execution of global seasonal product strategies for both Mainline and Outlet.
- Responsible for updating, maintaining, and tracking changes to merchandise assortments, always ensuring data accuracy across different systems, and effectively communicating updates to cross-functional teams (Design, PD, and other teams). Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of all relevant systems and tools.
- Analyze financial metrics (best sellers, sell-through, and market insights) to gain strategic visibility on market trends and incorporate this into product strategy to drive business growth.
- Conduct competitive research, including market trends, pricing, and color analysis.
- Lead Go-To-Market activities, ensuring the timely availability of digital assets, linelists, and bulk changes tracker; track and follow up on late additions.
- Actively contributes to the improvement of merchandising processes and tools.
- Participate in key product merchandising milestones in a hybrid capacity.
- Support division and carry out administrative and other ad hoc supportive tasks
- Sample Management/Pulls as needed
Qualifications & Experience
Experience:
At least 2 years of Merchandising experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in merchandising or equivalent
Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Ability to recognize opportunities and can assist with influencing decision makers to move to execution
- Strong product sense with prior experience in driving product assortments and coordinating with design to conceive product concepts that drive business
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Very proficient at Microsoft Office (Excel v-lookups, pivot tables; PPT)
- Miro a plus
