Job Description:

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Construction Inspector (Inspector, Senior or Lead level) within our Water/Wastewater Group. This position provides field inspection of activities performed by/or for MES, contractors or clients. These activities may include monitoring and/or operation of construction sites, preparation and submittal of reports to contractors, clients, or other agencies. Position requires statewide travel, with frequent overnight stays.

The candidate selected for this position will be considered Emergency Essential and will be required to report to work during inclement weather or during emergencies if the contractor is working the job site.

Estimated Pay Range:

$43,909.83 - $73,055.88

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from a standard high school or GED plus 1 - 5 years of related work experience. Candidate should have the ability to read and interpret construction documents. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.

Position classification and salary offered will be based upon applicable experience.
