About the role

The Sr. Facilities Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and operation of Inari facilities, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment serving the facility including clean rooms, production areas, labs, workstations and CDA systems. Oversee the work of contractors the vendors performing service or construction related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Project management responsibilities to ensure that projects are completed in a timely,
    safe and efficient manner
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of the mechanical, electrical,
    plumbing systems serving multiple facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex systems and problems relating to facilities operations
    and maintenance requirements.
  • Conduct daily inspections and assessments of equipment and systems serving
    production, R&D and operations to identify potential issues and recommend corrective
    action.
  • Identify and implement solutions for potential safety hazards.
  • Painting and repairing of wall surfaces when required.
  • Help manage building expansion and tenant improvement projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to coworkers regarding facilities related issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma and relevant supporting qualifications / certifications relating to
    facilities maintenance.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role as a facilities maintenance technician.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the following:
    • Plumbing to address leaks, clogs, or other plumbing related issues.
    • Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building’s electrical system
      including lighting, power distribution and control systems.
    • Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs and maintenance throughout the facility.
    • Strong HVAC skills. EPA 608 Certification is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, general carpentry & HVAC
      systems.
    • Basic Computer skills, including experience with Building Automations systems.
    • Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Other Skills:
    • Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant
      manner.
    • Attention to detail and time management to ensure that all jobs are completed in an
      exemplary and timely manner. Possess the ability to preemptively recognize any potential hazards or warning signs of problems that may have been overlooked.
    • Able to think critically, adapt accordingly and find solutions for complex projects and
      issues.
 Inari Medical offers competitive health and wealth benefits for our employees. The base pay range for this position is  $33.25 - $38.00. A range of factors, including location, skills, and experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
