*Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Field Communications (40%)
- Develop strategic Field communication plans in collaboration with key stakeholders, subject matter experts, and leadership to support new initiatives.
- Plan, develop, and facilitate various Field webinars in collaboration with product management, Field management, and external product and service providers.
- Develop and design vodcasts and podcasts with eLearning authoring tools, including publishing the content and tracking of engagement via a learning management system (LMS).
- Author content for the weekly e-newsletter and provide copyediting support.
- Create support materials and communications for new initiatives.
- Support the maintenance of the intranet and hosting current and accurate information.
Field Development (40%)
- Evaluate and identify ongoing Field training needs, and provide hard and soft skill development.
- Create onboarding plans for new Field reps, and coordinate learning and development opportunities.
- Train and support Field reps on technologies and systems, sales and training techniques, and products and company initiatives.
- Author training guides, quick reference cards, and other learning tools.
- Collaborate with Field management to create content and sessions for Field events.
Data & Analytics (10%)
- Track and report usage of various communication methods.
- Monitor and assess approval and impact of internal communications and training.
- Monitor the success of development plans to ensure the Field is making the most out of their learning opportunities.
- Compile and communicate results and insights to management, and utilize for recommendations of enhancements and improvements.
- Support the creation, administration, and analysis of the Field communications survey, and leverage the results for communication and development planning.
Initiative and Teammate Support (10%)
- Support and assist with key company initiatives.
- Support new hire onboarding of internal teammates.
- Supervise and mentor summer intern in partnership with department leadership and HR.
- Assist Field leadership in vetting and interviewing Field candidates.
- Invest in personal development on new communication and training trends.
*Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education or work experience, required. Field of Study: Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising
- 3 – 4 years of related experience
- Professional written and verbal communication skills required
- Training and development skills required
- Advanced Microsoft Office suite of software skills required
- Critical thinking skills in order to isolate problems and generate recommendations required
- Strong organizational and task management skills required
- Experience with eLearning software and an LMS preferred
- Experience in a sales organization preferred
- Experience with financial institutions and insurance products preferred
