What You Will Be Doing
The Implementation-Conversion Director will lead a team of 6-8 people supporting client tax reporting contracts. As the key leader of new paid client implementation and operational support contracts, you will be the subject matter expert in areas of US and international tax information reporting and retirement tax reporting.
- Work with members of Implementations-Conversions management team to establish business strategies in alignment with corporate goals and objectives
- Perform resource planning and allocation while effectively communicating and translating strategies into actionable items
- Interact directly with clients at a senior/executive management level, managing problem escalation and providing sales support
- Manage a staff of multi-functional and technical professionals along with a budget and revenue goals
- Use knowledge of FIS’s conversion management principles and methodologies to identify, develop, and implement new processes, improve existing processes, and/or eliminate ineffective processes
- Maintain staff continuity, as well as foster cooperation and information sharing with an understanding of technical and functional concepts of FIS products
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems or computer science or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- Typically, 15-20 years of experience in US and international tax information reporting and retirement tax reporting
- Exceptional management skills in leading significant client tax engagements and working with other senior leaders in establishing strategic plans and objectives
- Financial and tax industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence
- Ability to communicate effectively, manage staff, budget, and schedules, as well as identify, address and resolve employee related issues
- Skill in productivity, process improvement, planning and workload management
