Lead Java Developer

We currently have a career opportunity for a Lead Java Developer to join our team in Alpharetta, GA.

As a Senior Java Developer you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

This position does require three days per week onsite in our Alpharetta, GA office. 

• Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.
• Create architecture and sequence diagrams to map out data flows
• Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.
• Develop applications in languages including Java, Spring Boot on Linux servers.
• Jenkins DevOps for CI/CD
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Passionate coder with 10-15 years of application development experience.
• Breadth of experience with Java, Spring Boot on Linux servers
• Jenkins DevOps for CI/CD
• Development experience with the IntelliJ IDEA IDE
• Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Work with POs and BA to create User Stories
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Conduct code reviews to reinforce best practices
• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.
• Strong consulting and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with various organizations in pursuit of problem solutions.
• Onsite in Alpharetta, GA office 3 days per week

The salary range for this position takes into consideration several factors when determining compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $73,008 to $170,640. Please note that the salary range listed for our US postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include benefits or any potential variable bonus programs, subject to rules governing the programs, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
