Production System (SES) Technician

Position Summary: Responsible for executing activities related to the Shape Excellence System, achieving the involvement of all areas of the plant to promote elements that ensure the success and positive impact of this methodology. Will bring trainings and coaching mostly to APTL and supervisors.

 

 

Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:

• Execute activities for the development, implementation and monitoring of the Shape Excellence System, which include:
  • 5s
  • Waste elimination
  • Standarized Work in production and logistics
  • MIFC/A
  • Kanban
  • Visual management of the manufacturing plant.

 

• SES Roadmap follow up in production and support functions
• Follow the guidelines of the environmental management, safety and occupational health system.
• Guide and train APTL and supervisors on the 7 quality fundamentals, 7 people empowerment
• Run and follow up Kaizen workshops (SMED, SWKL, Hoshin, etc.)
• Follow the guidelines of the environmental management, safety and occupational health system.
• Identify and train a back-up(s) to manage key tasks when absent.
• Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the leader

Qualifications

 

Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

• 1 year of APTL experience required, 2 years preferred
• Knowledge of Shape Corp's Manufacturing Processes
• Basic knowledge on SES tools
• Communication and training skills
