Job Description

Objectives: Provide strategic technology consultation, guidance and leadership (where appropriate) for major business/domain initiatives. Develop and leads plans necessary to deliver the technology capabilities needed to enable business objectives. Provides leadership and oversight of programs/projects encompassing the areas of planning, procurement, provision, delivery, management, maintenance and effective business use of information systems for multiple business areas. Analyzes large-scale and highly complex business processes; elicits, analyzes, and documents business requirements; identifies, creates proposals, and presents alternative solutions, assesses feasibility and makes recommendations typically seeking to exploit and leverage new or existing IT technology components.; manages change; and leads, coordinates / performs testing, verification, and validation of requirements. Significant area of focus on the heavily regulated Complaints Management domain for life sciences companies.

Responsibilities

• Works with senior business unit clients to understand specific business processes, business drivers, and business strategy across multiple functions; Personally, or through indirect team management identifies, prioritizes and communicates resulting needs and opportunities for business process improvement that can be enabled via technology; Uses technical consulting skills and expertise to translate business requirements to BTS and functional requirements to the domain. Provides expert guidance on Complaints Management processes and technologies to realize strategic value for Quality Organization.
