As SD Manager for EMEA region, you will grow and lead a team of talented Sales Development Representatives to deliver qualified leads and talent needed by sales to achieve the company's objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for scaling and transforming our sales development channels to be best in class. The role involves varied work, both in areas of strategy and in execution, management experience, along with access to extensive and interesting data. LinkedIn's compelling culture and high growth environment allow high performers the chance to grow their career rapidly. This role will build and lead a team based at our EMEA HQ in Dublin.   

Responsibilities :  

  • To inspire, lead and engage sales development teams towards the vision, mission and strategy of the Global Sales Development Org   

  • To drive our commitment to talent development via our Sales Academy program and execute the talent strategy for Individual Contributors across the EMEA region while fostering a larger culture of learning across the team   

  • To manage, lead and support experienced sale development reps to overachieve assigned quota of qualified leads to the sales organization   

  • To partner with the sales & marketing organization to ensure goals, deliverables and expectations are aligned and met   

  • To deploy best practice prospecting methodologies and processes across all aspects of the lead generation workflow   

  • To drive Operational Excellence through the adherence of sales disciplines (e.g. tasks in anatomy of quarter, CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting)   

  • To stay abreast of and educate the team on industry-leading best practices and methodologies, and ensure these are adopted as appropriate into our lead generation processes

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications  

  • 2+ years people management experience in sales

  • 4+ years closing sales experience


Preferred Qualifications  

  • European language proficiency (Nordics or German or Dutch or Italian or French)

  • Sales Development management experience

  • Proven record of successfully overachieving targets in sales or sales support roles in EMEA  

  • Team management experience 

  • Experience working within the recruitment, marketing and SaaS industry preferred  

  • Strong people management skills with a proven track record of developing talent  

  • Established reputation as high integrity, top performer  

  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication experience with senior management  

  • Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments.  

  • Deep interest in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making  

  • A passion for getting things done and a desire to drive results  

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to engage executive stake
