Tarantino Properties is currently seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to assists the Activities Director in designing, creating, initiating, facilitating and coordinating a wide variety of multi-level recreational and educational activities for the residents of our Senior Living Community located in Austin, TX.

*** The schedule for this position is Part-Time - Sunday AND Monday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm ***

Essential Functions:

• Assists in planning and coordinating resident activities.
• Encourages resident participation in programs and activities.
• Escorts residents on activities away from the property as assigned.
• Assists with the registration of residents for trips and programs.
• Maintains necessary activity supplies, which may include outside purchasing.
• Assists in the surveying and interviewing of residents to determine interests, talents and resident satisfaction.
• Maintains general observation of residents and shares appropriate information with staff.
• Follows departmental budget guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Senior Living experience a HIGHLY PREFERRED!
