Job Description

To lead, manage and coordinate the Standard New York (SNY) Corporate Functions capability to deliver an operationally efficient, resilient, and profitable business, a smooth functioning office and a positive employee and client experience. To partner with the International Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to manage and coordinate the company's financial function.

Qualifications

Type of Qualification: Commerce Degree in Finance and Accounting

Experience Required

Finance & Value Management - At least 5-7 years experience serving as an executive or non-executive director, at board level of a midsized company. Seasoned ability to interpret macro-economic statistics/trends and apply to a single geography

8-10 years experience in implementing business change where the approach had to be adapted to the local context. Demonstrate an understanding of technology and data driven levers impacting business performance, applying agile principles to drive iterative, outside-in driven changes through empowered cross functional teams and leveraging understanding of social issues to strengthen reputation and market share.

8-10 years knowledge of financial accounting principles, classifying, measuring, and recording transactions using the financial systems of the Bank, understanding of costing, budgeting and finance concepts and the understanding and application of related processes and procedures, risk management methodologies, governance structures and regulatory requirements for good management of risk, with the ability interpret regulations and laws that apply to the business and to provide information on how

8 - 10 years demonstrated knowledge and understanding of risk management methodologies, tools, governance.
