This person will join as an individual contributor in our FP&amp;A function reporting into our Director of FP&amp;A, with the opportunity to supercharge our growth in 2025 and beyond by improving reporting and providing actionable insights to teams across the whole company.</p> <p>This hybrid role blends financial planning and analysis with technical analytics, empowering the business with data-driven insights and automated reporting. They will work with teams across the whole company to improve understanding of the business and automate reporting.</p> <h3>In this job, you’ll… </h3> <ul> <li>Partner with the Director of FP&amp;A on high-impact strategic initiatives (e.g. forecasting, scenario planning, and board reporting).</li> <li>Improve and own key recurring reports like our <strong>weekly company-wide KPI deck</strong> and <strong>quarterly board pack</strong></li> <li>Work with the Director of FP&amp;A to develop and enhance <strong>forecasting and budget models</strong>, supporting planning cycles across teams. </li> <li>Complete and interpret monthly budget variance analyses, providing clear insights into where performance is deviating from expectations and highlighting opportunities for cost optimization or revenue growth. </li> <li>Look after and improve various analytics modules, including our payroll, hardware and opex modules. </li> <li>Interpret business data and translate it into actionable insights by creating KPIs, dashboards, and reporting solutions in Looker and Metabase. </li> <li>Write basic SQL queries to support analysis, while partnering with the analytics team for any table creation or complex data transformations.</li> <li>Be the first line of support for the business on ad-hoc data queries and critical analysis for decision making.</li> <li>Document solutions e.g. metric definitions, dashboard explanations, etc. to enable visibility and transparency.</li> <li>Handover solutions and communicate data insights and high level methodology to non-technical audiences through clear writing, visualisations and narratives.</li> </ul> <h3>We’re looking for… </h3> <ul> <li>3+ years’ strategic, data-led experience supporting senior leadership and cross-functional teams to make informed, high-impact business decisions.</li> <li>Expertise in data visualisation and business intelligence tools, including Looker, Metabase, and Tableau, used to communicate insights clearly to decision-makers.</li> <li>Proven ability to translate complex datasets into actionable strategic insights that directly influence business planning and performance.</li> <li>Proficient in SQL, with experience extracting and analysing data to answer business questions. </li> <li>Skilled at writing clear, reliable queries to support reporting and decision-making.</li> <li>Strong commercial acumen, with a consistent focus on understanding the why behind the data and connecting findings to broader organisational objectives.</li> <li>A dedicated and diligent work ethic, taking full ownership and accountability for strategic deliverables.</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity in analysis, reporting, and visual outputs.</li> <li>Skilled in creating clear, visually compelling slide decks that effectively communicate insights and recommendations.</li> <li>Highly adaptable, able to manage multiple concurrent projects, pivot priorities quickly and respond effectively to time-sensitive strategic requests.</li> <li>A confident communicator, skilled at engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to influence decision-making at all levels.</li> </ul> <p><em>Desirable</em></p> <ul> <li>Strong FP&amp;A, analytics and technical experience.</li> <li>Experience working in data roles at technology companies or high growth start ups.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What you get</strong></h3> <p>We’re a growing startup and we understand that amazing incentives will attract amazing talent.
