Do you have a passion for technology, influencing at all levels, and leading change for the better?  If so, we have an exciting opportunity as a Principal Associate, Project Manager within the Portfolio Operations team in Associate Experience Technology (AXT) at Capital One. 

The Portfolio Operations team is responsible for driving adoption of an operating model that addresses our planning, prioritization and delivery process needs. 

As a Project Manager on the Portfolio Ops team you will: 

• Develop and coordinate internal processes and project governance maturation

• Manage and organize key deliverables across various initiatives 

• Support communications, including the gathering of insights and data as well as the preparation of written reports and oral presentations

• Analyze information to proactively identify risks, trends, and process improvements

• Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

• At least 5 Years Project Management experience

• At least 2 year of experience in Google Suites Products 

• At least 2 years of experience working in an Agile environment

• At least 1 years of experience in Communications planning and development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree

• 6+ years of Project, Process, or Project Management experience

• 2+ years of experience communicating and collaborating with multiple partner groups

• 2+ years of experience working on high level projects partnering with Senior Leadership

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $117,300 - $133,900 for Principal Project Manager

 

Richmond, VA: $106,700 - $121,700 for Principal Project Manager

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
