Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Equipment, Manufacturing & Tooling Services (EM&TS) Superintendent (Level M) to support the Fabrication Division team onsite in Auburn, Washington. Occasional to travel to Frederickson and Everett will be required to support program objectives.

This senior leader position is responsible for leading a complex organization with oversight of approximately 700 employees, both union-represented and salaried, non-represented teammates across all three shifts at Auburn, Frederickson, and Everett. This leader will oversee the Equipment Services, Tooling and Cutting Service Center statement of work. This position requires close integration with partners including, but not limited to Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality. Innovative thinking and ability to lead through influence will be critical to success in this role.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads employees and mid-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing areas

  • Develops and implements integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives

  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Cultivates relationships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and team members

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Develops and motivates team

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment

  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership

  • 5+ years of experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)

  • Experience in Equipment/Manufacturing Services

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Willing and able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation (primarily first)

Summary Pay Range: $181,800 - $222,200
