Job Description Summary

Project Management Staff Manager to lead a team of Project Managers for GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear, executing projects to deliver products and services to our customer base. This role works closely with Product Line and Engineering Leaders to ensure successful outcomes.

The required work location is our headquarters in Wilmington, NC (relocation assistance provided)

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead a project management team supporting the Engineered Solutions product lines. This includes performance management, training, mentoring, project assignment, staffing, and financial forecasting.
  • Drive project management rigor.
  • Measure project performance and problem-solve to address areas of concern.
  • Work closely with Project Management peers to implement standard processes and best practices.
  • Lead implementation of updated project management tools/software.
  • Interface with functional leaders in Engineering, Sourcing, Licensing, and Quality to ensure seamless support of customer and new product introduction projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management or Functional Management, managing medium- to large-scale projects in heavily regulated industries such as oil & gas, energy, aerospace, and medical device.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The work location is the Wilmington, NC Headquarters (relocation assistances provided)
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15+% domestically and internationally to GE Vernova and customer locations.
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

The base pay range for this position is $132,000 to $195,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on Wednesday July 30th

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
