Pay Rate:

$75,800 - $101,000 (USCORE)

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform:

• Champion safety culture.
• Partner with Maintenance Manager to lead and direct plant maintenance activities; ensure equipment and facilities are kept in optimum operating conditions.

• Report to Maintenance Manager any information that may impede the operation of the plant as soon as it becomes known, while providing technical expertise regarding plant equipment and facilities.
• Initiate and/or maintain a cost-effective preventive maintenance program and Implement quality improvement and cost reduction ideas
• Contact and work with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results.
• Assist in maintaining adequate inventories of spare parts and purchase materials, parts, and supplies as required.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Partner with Maintenance Manager to develop technical skillset of maintenance team.

 

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or GED
• Four years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Demonstrated personnel supervisory skills
• College and/or related technical courses preferred
• Proficiency with SAP preferred
• Experience in the corrugated box industry with heavy experience in electronics, controls, and PLCs preferred
• Mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity experience preferred
