About the Team

Retail Bank Marketing Technology sits at the core of Capital One’s Bank business where complex, enterprise data infrastructure powers how we bring the iconic Capital One brand to life. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Management to own the automation strategy for our processes and controls.

You will directly lead a high-performing, product-minded data analysts, owning the vision and execution of how we instill an automation-first mindset in how we launch marketing campaigns for Capital One. Your mission is to transform our processes into an AI-first engine that enables us to ship marketing at a rapid pace. This is a unique opportunity to enhance the core of the engine that powers our growth and directly impacts the bottom line by significantly increasing the throughput of marketing while reducing errors associated with existing manual processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for the entire automation product lifecycle, from defining the strategic roadmap and gathering stakeholder requirements to overseeing the development and maintenance of re-imagined processes and controls. We are seeking a visionary leader who blends a strong product mindset, has an eye for applying automation to achieve significant efficiency gains and a proven track record of managing and mentoring high-achieving teams. We deliver on this mission through four core focus areas:
  • Strategic Upskilling: Equipping our PMs with the world-class frameworks needed to drive strategy, make data-backed decisions, and solve the complex customer problems required to meet the Bank's ambitious goals.
  • AI-Enabled Discovery: Leading the "AI Understand" roadmap to discover how emerging generative and agentic technologies will fundamentally reshape the PM workflow and technical fluency.
  • Accelerated Experimentation: Developing new strategic initiatives that allow for faster learning and market validation by bypassing traditional delivery bottlenecks.
  • XFN Operating Models: Refining our working models to ensure our cross-functional teams are unified and oriented toward the same goals and outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: 

    • A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing

 

OR

  • Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 4 years of Product Management experience
